Our team

DO Innovations SA is a Swiss IP boutique based in Lausanne, founded in 2015. We guide clients through every stage of the intellectual property lifecycle - from clearance and filing through portfolio management to enforcement and licensing - with particular expertise in trademarks and copyright, and support across all IP categories through our global network of trusted partners.

Our team is multicultural and multidisciplinary, bringing together professionals from diverse academic and professional backgrounds who collectively speak nearly 10 languages. We work in French, German, English, Ukrainian, Russian, Italian and Polish, which matters when the other side's counsel does not work in yours.

We work worldwide, with deep experience in innovation-driven sectors including information technology, artificial intelligence, automotive, and renewable energy. We regularly represent clients before the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the Ukrainian National Office for Intellectual Property and Innovations (UANIPIO). Our firm is included in the official list of professional trademark representatives maintained by the IPI.

We act for Swiss and EU clients moving east, and for Ukrainian and Central Asian clients moving west. The Kyiv office is ours, not a correspondent. Being in Switzerland puts us an hour from WIPO and the WTO in Geneva, which is where a good deal of this work is decided.

About

Dmytro Doubinsky read international relations with a concentration in law at the University of Geneva, and has since taken CopyrightX at Harvard Law School, the WIPO-UNIGE summer school and the WIPO Academy's DL101 and PCT courses.

He publishes on IP: the Bolar exception for the South Centre in January 2025, and supplementary protection certificates in the EU and Switzerland on SSRN in December 2025. He works in five languages.

About

Emmanuel E. Jelsch has worked in international IP for more than 25 years. He is admitted before the European Patent Office, is a Swiss Patent and Trademark Attorney, and is a UPC representative.

He is an engineer by training, taught the master's course in bioengineering and biotechnology at EPFL from 2007 to 2019, has taught IP at UNIL since 2021, and has been lead trainer for Morocco's CAPI certificate since 2015. He founded IP2GO-Pro, a Swiss IP practice in Renens.

About

Michael Doubinsky has practised intellectual property in Ukraine for over 30 years. He holds a Ph.D. in law and an LLM in intellectual property from the University of Turin, and co-founded Doubinsky & Osharova, which he has led ever since.

He is listed in WTR 1000 2026, the IAM Patent 1000, the Lexology Index for impact and leadership, and the 2026 Top 100 Lawyers of Ukraine.
